The Avengers Movie Review & Summary

After several years of effort to this movie, Marvel finally threw its ultimate weapon to assemble all nerds around the world on the big screen in 2012. Marvel’s The Avengers is like the God of all comic book movies, not only because it’s faithfully true to the comic with only slight changes in it but also because it’s done perfectly. It’s like watching a moving comic book.

The movie is about 6 superheroes with different power and background assemble together in order to fight evil that threatened earth. However they didn’t just suddenly assemble and work together that easy. There were problems among them that initially made them hate each other because their different backgrounds.

The villain is Loki, an alien (He’s called God by another part of the world) from Asgard and he wanted to rule the earth with the help of a mysterious alien who gave him a massive army called Chitauri, in return he must take the Tesseract from the government institution called SHIELD and bring it to that mysterious alien. He also succeeded to deceive the superheroes so that he can manipulate them in their own base.

After solving their problems, finally the superheroes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye assembled together in New York to fight him and his massive army, that’s the biggest showdown in this movie. Several scenes when you can laugh and another scene when you get excited of the beautiful effects mixed by the actions, it’s really a perfect popcorn movie. The movie also has some memorable and iconic moment in it because that’s the superhero movie is all about.

I was so entertained by this movie, the action, the humor, the intensity packed perfectly. The comic book reader will have a perfect satisfaction, the non comic book reader will also enjoy the movie. If I’m not mistaken this movie has the highest grossing in 2012 and the third highest movie of all time. Well if we look back the effort that marvel has done to this movie for the past 5 years, no wonder this movie has such a success. It deserved it. In the end I say this movie is great and I’m definitely looking forward to the next installment in 2015.
